Gemma

Dancer/Actor

Gemma (she/her) is a 23-year-old dancer and media artist. As a young girl she started doing ballet and graduated from the National Ballet Academy after 8 years of training. She continued dancing and discovered other styles, such as Urban Contemporary, Afro, Dance Hall and Hip Hop. Besides her passion for dance, Gemma found she had an interest for art and film, so she started studying at the University of Arts in Utrecht. Currently Gemma is finishing her graduation project, which is a short poetic dance film she is directing. She clearly loves the combination of dance and film, both as a dancer and as a filmmaker.
